Frustrated with the search for your next great hunter, jumper or dressage prospect? Then consider growing your own with a quality CanAm Sport Horse weanling, offered October 17 — 19, 2008, at the 2nd Annual CanAm Sport Horse Classic Showcase Sale & Futurity.

Held at Kentucky Horse Park, the Showcase Sale will be held on Friday, October 17th and Saturday, October 18th, with silent bids closing at 5:00 p.m. on October 18th.

On Sunday, October 19th, the new owners will have a chance to show their purchase in the Futurity, or ask the breeder to show the colt or filly for them.

The Showcase Sale will feature weanlings handpicked from North America Equine Ranching Information Council (NAERIC) ranches. CanAm Sport Horses are traditionally produced by breeding a Thoroughbred, Paint or Warmblood stallion to a draft cross mare.

CanAm Sport Horses are known for their exceptional dispositions, athleticism and versatility.

The weanlings brought to the sale will be selected by a panel of conformation and hunter-jumper experts.

After the weanlings are displayed and silent bidding is completed, they may be entered in the Futurity to be held on Sunday. Prize money of $5,200.00 is being offered by the CanAm Breeders’ Group.

For the second time, the CanAm Sport Horse Sale & Futurity is being held in conjunction with Hagyard’s Mid-South 3-Day Event and Team Challenge (CCI*).

A sale catalog will be available online (www.canamsporthorses.com) after September 15th, complete with photos of sale weanlings. Printed copies can be obtained by calling 306-435-3592.
